does anyone know of a man who does trigger safaris on chesil beach.i was told today of this man but need to know if it is true or not.and is he any good because we have to travel a long way for this.

I remember seeing an article in Sea Dangler a while ago featuring a chap who did this kind of thing. I think he could be booked through a tackle shop in Weymouth. I'll see if I've still got it. Failing that, contacting the magazine about it might be worth a go.

I think there was a sea angler video that featured chesil for trigger, casting a longway out to a wreck and he had a couple...

They fish one of the 2 wrecks there,quite a way out too. Triggers are turning up all along the south coast, up into wales as well.

i think the wreck you need to fish is called the adelaide,google earth may show its position

the wreck is called the adelaide and don't fish right on top of it,but down tide some 20-35 yards(ish) when the tide is flooding from right to left,the fish seem to like picking off bits of food that get caught up in the flow behind the wreck.....late august/sept is your best bet.
