What's going on with the weather? I know it's been blowing a bit but 12 degrees during the night? This is closer to bass temperature that cod/whiting... No wonder there are still a few bass kicking around. It would be easy to blame this on global warming, can anyone else remember it being so mild? Maybe it's just because I'm taking more of an interest in fishing conditions.
Steve.

I have heard from a few sources now that we can expect our hottest summer on record in 2007!!! Oh great! I`m not one for searing heat, especially at night time.

As long as the long still, settled periods come with that heat I'll take it, sunburn'n'all. Anything to get out in that boat of ours, it seems a long time away!

True enough mate, great news for boat owners . Weeks of high pressures hanging over the country, mid channel trips a pleanty! Thing is, after a short spell of no wind, the water here goes gin clear like you have never seen! Not good news for the beach fishing.
