Been using them for a few years now.... personally I think they are an excellent reel to use in UK waters, all the more in Summer time .... nice Tope fishing reel and good with braid for the Flounder/Plaice fishing … even though more people are moving over to fixed spool reels for flattie fishing in summer time, with good results!

Totally agree with all you said Hoggy but I borrowed an Avet & everything else pales into insignificance! It was the same old story of the drag letting down a good reel, very lumpy other than that a great reel!
