PB's .....very sad really when I looked I realized that only the Tope, Bass & Bream were from the last 10 years.

The Ling was from 30 years ago and was the smallest one landed on the boat that day. Trouble was everything that was landed that day was kept...................

That was in 1960 from a self drive motor out of Looe in Cornwall which was driven by my Grandfather who's words I remember distinctly. " I thought you were making a bit of a fuss bringing that in, I can see now you weren't, well done, fish for tea"

I was there again in September and it aint the same sad to say, seems to have gone down market.

Padstow (or should have said Padstien) on the other hand was well posh. Got a nice mullet fishin off the end of the outer harbour arm freelining a Mackerel eye. (Best mullet bait yet).
Nice place to fish in the evening with a pint of Tribute an a pastie

Thanks Monkeynuts I see yours is no mean list.

Trouble is most of mine are so long ago I can hardly remember some of them.
I'm looking to add a big Blonde next year and maybe a bigger Tope.

I dont think my backs up to a FO Conger anymore.
