I just use a single 8/0,no pennel and just put the point in the top pull hook down inside till your eye is inside then take the hook out the side. All you can see is the point down to the bend.Done well she wont spin and any fish worth catching will swallow it easy+very few deep hooked fish. I buy the squid in bulk and it comes from india and sell it 2 charter boats like shogun from limingtn and have used it for 2 years now, best thing doggies find it very hard to eat and rays just lovem also cod bass conger to.daves ones are refrozen from what I dont use boatfishing. regards Andy

these squid range from 8 to 10 inch tube a must for any serious cod fisherman,I have to buy 750 kilo to get a good price as calimari is cheaper.they survive any pest fish leaving your bait for the biggie. We have used these for 3 years now and don't look back but is has been hard to persuade people set in thier ways,But no we have some top charter boats and bait sellers taking them which is good just look at my catch reports and your see they catch! Thou we have not been out much :'(Here's a pic next to cali but this pack is smaller than normal,But note all the juice with them.

I get them for 40 pound a case on the amount I get and resale at 50 pound a case,A case is 10 2 kilo blocks. When codding used to use 3 5lb boxes on a sesh with these 2 2 kilo blocks so it is cost affective.Let me know what you want and we can sort it out. Al the best Andy
