Mate of mine wass bassing off hastings yesterday and he had 2 bass of around 3lb on the same plug,one on each treble! just wondering if anyone else has heard of this?

have had the same in the needles gap about 8 years ago but is quite rare!

Must have been entertaining - 6 lb of bass on the same plug, trying to go in different directions !

Never had it on a plug, but 2 bass on the same pennel-rigged launce...

A mate of mine did the same on his boat......a 3lb and a 4lb He caught 30+ that day ranging from schoolies to 5lb, all inshore in 14ft of water ;D Must have sat on top of a shoal and a half Wish I could have a day like that!!

Mate of mine had the same as Dale, except he was using live mackerel and both fish were over 10lb drifting the bridge at the needles

I was out the other week, and had a 2lb ish fish on the surface, on a flash minnow130, when another larger fish came and literally tried to take the lure from its mouth. I guess they might be a bit like seagulls, chasing each other when one has got a big mouthful!
