evening anglers ,
well after fishing with young fisherdan plenty of times , and hearing all the stories on his fly fishing trips , i took the plunge , and brought myself a beginers salt water fly outfit , awaiting delivery !!! , sounds like great fun and with loads of coatching from dan and scott , hopefully i will master the art of fly casting ,loads to learn and master which will be fun , any tips will be much appreciated , looking forward to the test !!!!!!!!!!
ill get dan to do a few posts on here about salt water fly fishing as there dont seem to be many at it , hes very knowlegeable and certainly knows his cookies !!!!,

dont forget to wear sunglasses, there are some nasty pictures around of people who have hooks in their eyes after a miss judged cast.  |

I had a 2 hour intriductory lesson on fly fishing - well worth it. I'll PM you the contact info since I dont want to advertise. Its actually not that difficult to cast a fly, but the timing seems to be everything. I need to get this sorted though, since I have yet to go fishing in anger. mainly because the best trout season is allegedy Oct - May, which fits in nicely with the seas fishing. |

taught fly casting for 5 years at rooksbury mill ,hampshire and river test ,also double hauling for that extra distance ,have a bit of time at wk ends, pm me if you fancy it ,might blag a pint in local pub

would love to have a go a salt fly fishing.... have done quite a bit of fresh water fly fishing with my pb being a 13.5lb rainbow... but would love to hve a go at the salty stuff....

i have done a bit of salt fly fishing had a few bass and pollock but some advise on bass flys would be great as i dont have a clue and my aim is a big fat mullet on a fly. thanks mick
