i've bought a couple of new diving lures recently, used one the other day and some how broke the small plastic spoon shaped disc at the front of the lure which makes it dive.
i was just wondering after doing this is it worth keeping the lure and will it still work or shall i just throw it away and buy a new one?
cheers lewis

The lip is an important part of the lure that gives it it's action and diving depth. These types of lures are finely tuned before leaving the factory. I'd say bin it (after you've salvaged the hooks and split-rings of course).

MJB is probably right. You could try to glue it together and give it a couple of chucks - you never know, maybe the action would be just right. But probably not.
Can't really tell - i have plugs that are "identical" - one caught time after time even thoguht bashed and bitten, others just, well, meh, crap really.
