I've been topping up the fly boxes in anticipation of the coming season. Here's a nice baitfish imitation based on the 'MV Baitfish'. All synthetic materials, so it should stand up to a good chewing.

look real nice mate, been thinking of making my own flies/feathers this session for the mackeral and bass, are they difficult to make?

the other thing I meant to ask you is "How to make/ Tie dropper teasers" for attaching ahead of a metal Lure for sub surface spinning. If you happen to know..?? Gazza

get some white feathers and something called Mylar tubing that you fray to make your artificial feathers. any hints on who would supply em...... Any decent game\trout\fly fishing shop should stock it www.troutfishing.co.uk/shopscr700.htmlLooks like the ebay stuff is a tad over priced

Austen at uksaltwaterflies will stock everything you need to whip a few feathers on a hook. You only need the 'strung hackles' for what you want to do.
