hi guys could any of the experienced lure/plug anglers advise me please i am determined to try bass fishing with lures/jellies /shads etc this year from walton pier i would like to fish very early mornings and evenings into darkness from the local bait anglers i know that the ebb is best so will work around those what would you recomend for night fishing with a lure? thanks guys neil

I've tried it at night with not much luck. But if you know of anywhere tidal with very bright lamps,halogen street lights etc give it a go. I under stand that a dark lure is best in low light conditions. The small fry,whitbait,mackeral are attracted to those lights and the bass will be waiting for them! Tight lines.

As said, a dark lure is best in low light as its silhouette is easier for the fish to see against the sky as it looks up.

use a lure with a rattle in it at night or buy some rattles that clip on your line above your lure the fish home in on these with the vis being low
