We used to use a set of 6 trebles wrapped round our line a foul hook them up sandown pier. never very big but they came straight out and onto out float fishing rods.
Would love to know where to catch some launce though.

lance like offshore banks the ridges are great for them on size 10 or less hooks shrimp rig is best! Andy

have to give it a go when im around that way, tend to fish sandown bay area, i know there out there and i have tried but to no avail

Rich, I've had them on the Ray Banks on slack, you have to find the sandy patches, the shoals sometimes mark on the sounder

I was told you can get them on the ventnor ray grounds as well, had a quick go but im abit impatient.

Yeah, had them on the inshore banks on Sabikis at Ventnor too...Try those in close out from the Ventnor sign... Have seen them on the surface there in the summer on slack. Banks peaks are around 25ft....

I have dug them up under Sandown Pier before, but you have to be quick because they get back in sand pretty quickly.
