Dunno about other peeps, but I found the followling If live and kept in their shells, in sea water (refeshed daily) about 5 days If not kept in water - 2 days If frozen packs and thawed, and not kept in a cool area - 2 days max, after that expect your stomach contents to rise when you open the bag All this was learnt when on a caravanning holiday in August |

All this was learnt when on a caravanning holiday in August I can imagine.....Lovely, I can almost smell 'em! they dunn arf stink mate i can tell ya i have a freezer in the shed that i keep all my bait in had a rcd inline must have tripped it when i went into the shed did not go into for about 3 days opened the door BLOODY HELL closed the door reset the freezer and let them freeze up again before i took them out and took um down the beach to throw away stink you never smelt anything like it lucky i did not have anything else in the freezer at the same time jesus did they hum |

Too right - took a bucket of rotten slippers once down to the beach to get rid - they were rank and it was a week before the smell disaceaped from my car! Never going to do that again!

Keep a few in the freezer OK when they are available but fresh and slightly stinky brings the bass running like crazy. We really need a bit of a blow to bring a few in but doesn't look much like it at the mo'

Work best when they make ya feel sick with smell and ya slopping them on the hook, they also salt down well and stored in a glass jars they last for years and still work.............
