I tried my luck digging down the folly tonite for rag for the forthcoming BHC open on sunday. When i arrived it looked like the surface of the moon and when i attempted to dig it was like trying to dig pea soup. Sufficed to say that the place had been dug to death and not a worm was had.
I need to dig some worm before sunday and would like to know of any half decent spots that are left on the island because i dont want to pay for them. Any ideas?

Isle of Skye. But seriously mate, their down deep this time of year. Try St Helens, not big worms but normally plenty of them, plus there's a lot of Lug down there. If you've not dug there before dig close in, but in the shingle not the sand, for Lug, walk towards the harbour, you'll see the casts. Good luck on the BHC
