Depends what you use it for , the small bore copper ones are brilliant for black lug but there is a knack to it.

cant you get ragworm with them aswell? no mate you can pump rag with them and it dont work very well with blow lug cos thay are to soft skined thay are only good for black lug but thay take some geting use to

They work in soft mud/wet sand if you shove them in a few inches but tend to chew the worm up if it is firm. Best use is black lug right at the bottom of the tide cos the sand is soft and wet there. We get our blow lug and rag in a spot which has a lot of gravel so digging is the only answer.
