I bought a neck warmer from Lidl's for £2-99 - so good I went back and bought an another - not cos I have 2 necks but in case I loose one !
Also - Thinsulate fingerless mitts but with finger covers (held back with velcro) from 'Cut Price £1-99 - superb bit of kit - leaves fingers completley free & can cover them up to keep warm - when they get manky - in the washing machine ! So good - guess what ..... yep bought another pair ....

Good thread! all in favour to save a few quid! Supermarkets in general I think are a good bet. If I ever tag along with the Mrs I will wander to the clothing bit, always some bargains there - I got some insulated & waterproof sallopettes once for a tenner!

If you have a 'Shoe Fayre' in your kneck of the woods. My better half got a pair for walking the dogs for a fiver! a couple of months ago.
