Anyone fished Hayling recently, it was going well a couple of weeks back, just interested to see if those bass were ever going to leave or if they've declared themselves resident!

I've spoken to a few guys while out there walking and generally its quite slow. Did see one guy with a 21/2 lb bass in a bucket so I guess its the same stamp of fish but not the quantity Pete. Roll on the summer!!!!

Agree with Daren, it has now gone dead: Sean and I did two nights last weekend and took just one pin whiting and one school bass between us. Have decided to give up 'til April unless we get another storm.

Not fished Hayling for over a week now - getting withdrawal symptoms ! Last session at Eastoke was a blank but certainly all those before produced Bass. The 2 sessions at Eastney this wekend produced 2 x 2lb Bass approx so it appears they have definatley stayed 'at home this year ! Lets hope I have not put the mockers on it and they all go in the next few weeks !!!
