Noticed a sandeel trawl on e bay item number 300216513612 from portsmouth area
At the mo its really cheap. If someone wins it remember me for a few sandeels

they certainly take some towing and wont do you gearbox much good. there are a few blokes in our club that have seine nets that they use in the harbour for eels but draging a net in by hand is hard work. i have done it twice and given up on the idea. live mackerel are easier to catch and sort out the better size fish

speaking to a mate today who just about tows a 3 fathom net with his sheltie and a 60 four stroke yam. so a 5 fathom net would probably need some serious horses to pull it. it sold cheap though
