i'm after the non levelwind cage for my 5500.
do they exist? they must do...
the levelwind on my reel is buggered so instead of fix it may aswell convert it!
anyone know how i could get hold of one... none on ebay!

dont really like the look of those conversion kits, got a mate who reckons they are rubbish, knows his stuff about reel maintenance and tuning, says not as strong an the complete frame,
also dont fancy hacksawing my reel up just to fit a single bar. as i said im after a complete cage.

The guys i know who have had these have had no problems  If the level wind is knackered anyway whats the problem with cutting the cage? You will probably be looking at 20+ quid for a genuine CT version as they are pretty rare |
