Thought I'd introduce myself, my name is Alex, based in Glasgow.
I started fishing again last year after being out of it for nearly 10 years. I have been fishing from the shore at various marks in the west of Scotland but I prefer being out on the boat.
I have booked a charter boat out of Tarbert in Argyll on Easter Sunday and will be fishing in the sound of Bute and the Irish sea. I look forward to giving you all a report on how it has gone.
I'm quite likely to ask all you good members for advice from time to time and I hope you don't mind passing on your hints and tips.

welcome alex we are in kent mate and your fishing will be very different to ours.we are covering a lot of coastline now.
