just got an A1 condition ian golds 6ft match tripod/leg brace/trace hanger....£15 notes,and to top that a greys 12ft6 LD spod rod,used a couple of times,showroom condition...£50.......bring on the hounds ;D

lol, result,
got dragged around a car bot sale this morning, the most interesting thing i came across was a winfield (woolworths) non level wind multiplier, big old thing, bloke wanted a tenner but the drag was seized (star spun but spool wouldn't 'slip) so i left it.
the majority was all the 'new' cheap tat which you find on ebay!

lol, no. winfield. my first rod was a winfield 5 or 6ft rod, much like the kids starter kits today, but woolworths sold it as their brand.

ah right, see what you mean, yes the cheap tat was mostly fladen and lot's of very unknown names. hese people never have decent stuff from the fladen range either (some of it is rather good by all accounts), it's mainly pants stuff and carp fishing junk!
