Question about baits etc. Anyone tried Frozen Lance Fish? Been into a local aquarium today & spotted these and packs of small squid, krill etc Just wondered if anyone has experiemented with them - the prices were cheap enough to risk an experiement

they look like frozen whitebait we used as kids as we were skint.caught plenty of whiting on them.

while were talking baits.....Prawns....raw/cooked or live as a "freshy" ive used cooked prawns for most predators in the Thames and i know carp luv em too...!!!! do you guys use em in the sea.and if so what do you target and how is it best presented..... other than brown bread and mayo...lol Gary

I've used the blocks of baby squid, excellent bait ! especially whole on a circle hook to pick out the better bigger bream!

has anyone ever caught on those frozen chinese crabs so far i have failed to find anyone who has caught on them.we also use baby squid great for tipping a yellowtail.
