Hi im looking for somewere to keep my boat and was thinking of shanklin deep sea club does anyone know the pricing? and is anyone a member down there? because i was wondering what people thought on- How easy is it to launch/retrieve down there? and how safe are the boats left down there?

From what i know i think its circa £100 quid for the year, they have a electric winch to pull the boats up with so its not to bad.
It aint the safest place in the world to leave your boat, the boat itself would be fine but i wouldnt leave anything on it (dirty little chavs lurk down there), the club does have lockers to store engines anchors etc

I htink if your lucky enough to have a space to put your boat infront of the pub you can lock it so it cant be moved. Its a shame that little scrotes cant leave anything alone down there.  |

Thanks for the replies, I think il give it a miss down there as iv just spent the best part of a year rebuilding my boat nearly from scratch and i dont fancy like picking bits of it up off the beach.

you could always have a look at the vectis club in ryde, or is that to far away
