High and low pressures. Does anyone have any thoughts/theories/catch records on the impact these have on sea fishing? Apart from standing in the wind and rain ;D

Apart from standing in the wind and rain ;D Not catches as such but the tides certainly act strange when there is big highs and lows in the atlantic. Like double stands and tides holding in for hours.

On the east coast it's a definite no-no when high pressure's around, especially if coupled with light winds and neh tide run. Stayed @ Kessingland over Easter.......c**p!! Only small stuff and few & far between! Says it all
