pegasus....errrrr here we go it is a plastic frame with a one open sided square set into it at a 10 o clock or 2 o clock angle depending on which way you want it set into the wind.....it has a 5mm bolt through the base with a plastic retaining knurled nut on that goes through the main t bar at the top.geeeeez woulda been easier to take a piccy......lolol i think i can salvage one with some strong glue....so its just the one im looking for really.... strange that they dont have a web site..!!!! many thanks for the response anyway.

Gaz Rover's Tackle on Fareham has a selection of spare parts for Ian Golds Tripods. Maybe worth giveing them a ring to see if they have what you want (01329 220354). I have to say that I have only seen replacement top bars complete - not just the rod clips. A website is www.lathams-fishing.co.uk/view-products/category/97.html they have various spares. You could always do what RichardB does and that is tie them on with lots of elastic bands!! Sorry Richard!

If it goes again why not consider the Veals Pro Tripod kit - this is all metal (head and pots) and should fit an Ian G 'pod - any pod with a square section Ali rear leg! I've converted my Mustad 'pod after all the plastic bits broke (they go brittle in a frost and snap real easy).

Welcome to the forum elmerfudd, sounds like good advise. All metal looks the way to go.
