hello all , great site. fished here most my life,beach & boat but since last summer i been fishing from my kayak which has proved to be the best thing i ever bought, these thing go places you wouldnt dare take a boat  . fish so far this year- 18 bass(small),4 doggies(small),2 smoothies(very small)and someones lost trace ;D |

thanks for the welcome, my kayak is an ocean kayak prowler 13 cost me £500 + extra for a good paddle, theres a good choice of fishing yaks to buy,they all come with rod holders fitted and loads of storage , very easy on & off the car,i even got a little pair of wheels for it if i cant get close enough to were i want to put in. please feel free to ask me for any advice etc only to happy to help. Pete B if you get one soon you"ll be in time for the tope season,now that is fun...

I can imagine! have you any pics of your kayak you can put on here?
Must be great, really convenient. Its a bit of an effort to launch the boat some days, half a day of prep prior to getting out. The kayak must be effortless in comparison.
