My learning on multis is coming along nicely using my penn 525 supermags.....but.....I wondered if anybody who owns a 7HT mag has formed an opinion on it yet. I keep seeing em for sale on "that" bidding site now and again and keep getting tempted as mag braked reels appeal to my easy to use nature....and I just may have to get one to try out Daiwas mag reel.....if fellers think there worth the outlay. Gazza hi if you was on the isle of wight you"d be welcome to have a go with one of mine to try before you buy one its a lot of money to spend and not like

yes thay are smooth and hold 330 yds of .35 line thats more than the 525 mag will hold and mag idea is very good for fishing (not tournamett casting ) a lighter reel than 525 witch i.m.a balances better on lighter rods ( but im still going to sell mine later )

hi mate i use the 7ht turbo, to get the best out if it, in my opion, load with .35 mm line, 15 pound, keep the shock leader to only 3 or 4 turns on the reel and service it regularly, had mine a year, use every week, perfect
