He has been around a few years now and everytime I go out he comes on the boat for a feed as soon as I start macky fishing for bait he lands on the boat and waits for you to catch then I hand feed him one he eats it and flys of.Sometimes he lands on the engine or even trys to land on your head

If it was a cormorant, you could do what the chinese do, tie a rope to it and let him do your fishing - seems very tame. good photo.

I managed a migrating bunting - of some sort (no bird spotter) - landed on the boat for a rest and then flew on towards the coast. I felt privaleged... but I can see that I need to get something bigger now...not that fisherman are competative about weights ;D

Brilliant andy , we had a gull like that up the river in riverside park he used to sit on the railings begging for food , anyone could get close and hand feed him , he was locally known as sh*t lol
