now its gone quite when does it start picking up and what species of fish start turning up sorry to ask fellas but ive only been fishing since august last year so im not as wise as you and the only people i can talk about my habit with is you's wise old lot,ive had two blanks in two days now and need a fix,cheers in advance fellas tb

Hi TB, Fishing is not just about catching fish, it's the whole experience of angling, each trip you should have learned something more, ie: weather conditions, bait, tide, location and so on. With time you will start to build up a picture and knowledge. Tight lines M.I.B

well to be honest i think its ust starting too pick up maceral will be in soon the top bait at the moment is peeler crab and white rag hope this helps mate

Its now time everthing should pick up, bass should be in good numbers soon searching for crab and sandeel, smoothound are already showing as are rays and congers, great tides coming up, you should see a improvment. Peeler crab is the bait for april/may off the beach but hard to come by at mo

hi tb,i am going tonight kids have gone so i am off,it is strange this year because having done a lot of walking latley it has really slowed everywhere.i am having a go at sandwich bay low tide,the sea on sunday was the colour of chocolate and not very summery,you doing nowt wrong mate it is a matter of waiting. has anyone else bought a decent camara for fishing to find you was not told about the poxy gig card,i will have to wait a bit longer to post pictures of our lovely coastline in kent.

i know that mate just being out there is enough for me but a bit of knowledge is no good if you cant share it and let someone else benifit from it,im not ask asking for specifics just in general,cheers maninblack tb best way to suss out a spot/tactics is to go and watch other anglers and if they are catching copy traces, tactics,bait, the lot, dont be shy to ask what they are doing, you can gain all of somebodies knowledge of a spot in minutes and it comes alot easier if you havent got arm fulls of fishing gear peolpe seem to go silent if you have your fishing gear with you.............
