That pretty good, have a look before you set off. I assume it looks the same most days.

Cool. Does that mean we can watch the FastCat bounce off the side of Lymington River in realtime during Cowes week?

That pretty good, have a look before you set off. I assume it looks the same most days. no its different every hour as most of the boats are moving.although some are anchored usually waiting to get into port. check the speed some can do 20 knots. at the moment boats of 300t and over have to have ais fitted

Bazza and I were fishing Sturbridge on Sat evening, when a huge container ship came through at what I thought was 18kts he was actually doing 17kts according to the AIS History Data, take a look it was around 2000hrs, but his draught was almost 13 Metres, the wave he produced was probably 2 Metres, we saw it coming, got underway and rode it out, first wave was ok, when we were in the trough, the peak of the next wave was at my eye level, the boat slammed down after it went through, NOT NICE AT ALL, 27 years in the RN and that was the worst slammning that I have experienced, felt like she was gonna break in two. SeaJuicer was at anchor approx 3/4 nm away i watched through my binoculars and I'm just glad that i was underway!!!!
