they are ok but they slam quite a bit. i know of one for sale £1850 with a mariner 30 and trailor.

the early 17 foot ones are very flirty with low free board sold mine quick beam was to small and had some hairy moments believe me rated 1 above the Shetland 17 which was a bugger in a following sea :-[and the bottom of my list.

yes but on the narrow beam and a side on sea was most scary,but I swear by the hull design best was the fast worker which was then copied by the leeward 18 both great boats

Got to agree with squidhead there, my mate has got a 17 and it can be a bit lively . If you can have a look at a 20 , i have had one for 12 years now and cant fault it.

Myself and squidhead rebuilt one from scratch like he said we soon got rid of it, It was terriable no room to move about very narow and she certainly had a mind of her own [ BLOODY THING ].
