thats how rob hickin showed me to do it. I tried it and the inside of my boat looked like a scene from the texas chainsaw masacre!!!!!!

Yer, i `skinned` one once and was wrestling around with it for 25 odd mins before i got it into some kind of fit state to cook, then i under cooked it and chucked it in the bin! Never again.

Easiest way to skin a doggie if you plan to eat it soon after is to immerse it in boiling water for a minute then scrape it with a knife. The skin comes off like scraping a new potato. The reason I say if you are going to eat it soon after is because the boiling water will just start to cook it. I scrape mine first, rinse thoroughly then gut. I then cut into chunks about 2 inches square, dip in egg yolk then breadcrumbs and deep fry. Treat as scampi or fish goujons and serve with a good homemade tartare sauce and a nice cold beer.
