HI guys u should all get down to the ledge with your rappala lures I'v had 67 bass in the last couple of months on a fishing kiyak, its the best way to fish and even the small Bass put up a fight on light gear. The biggest Bass i had was 6lb and loads of keepers including some 3-4lb, also had alot of Garfish,pollock,Mackerel,and Wrasse, Good Fishing

Well done mate,good to see I've at long last got my bass season going,months of trying without any joy then i've had 2 in 2 days, typical.
Not as big as your 6lb just a couple of 2lb ers

GET A KAYAK MATE ITS THE INBETWEEN OF BOAT AND BEACH FISHING, THERE ARE SO MANY PLACES THAT I CAN ACCESS WITH THE KAYAK THAT I COULDNT ON A BOAT OR FROM THE BEACH,THE BASS ARE VERY CLOSE IN ATM ASWELL I CAUGHT A 4lb BASS 15M FROM SHORE IN A METRE OF WATER, IT WASNT HAPPY AND RIPPED ALOT OF LINE OFF MADE ME HAPPY THO AND TASTED GOOD TODAY

well done on the kayak fishing matey sounds like great fun. try off the ledge for a conger no need for paddles let the conger tow you along
