after not much use the levelwind has packed up. screw doesn't fit into worm drive properly which allows guide tt stick at ends of travel. this throws line lay out of synch.
cut the level wind off and the reel is still nice to use.
I've also got an okuma diezel kicking around on the boat which ends up being used by anyone who comes that doesn't have any gear, the thing has been abused wicked for the last four years and hasn't complained once!!
