where not to go fishing this weekend

had a walk over chesil beach this morning to clear my hangover. as soon as i got out of the car i could feel the spray coming over the top of the bank.
i took a few pics and a video which i'll post as soon as i work out how.

however my camera fone doesnt do it justice. it was low water and the wash was breaching the high water mark. i was stood well back and got nailed by the spray on every wave!
i saw one of the biggest waves iv ever seen on chesil too! it probably could of upturned a bus!







this is the veiw of the other side of the beach, portland harbour. nice and calm but the windsurfers love a sou-west gale! they wernt half shifting!

lol that's like Chale, I think all these anglers who fish the south coast in the shadow of the IOW are missing something! ;D
