it's almost channel whiting time on chesil and im hungry! obviously best done with nice fat whiting of over 1lb. de-scale and knock some fillets off em going as close to the bone as poss, remove as many of the pin bones as you can. either make some breadcumbs or use the ready made stuff (making them is always better). grate some chedder, and break it up mixing it in with the breadcrumbs. pre-heat the grill. lightly fry the fillets for about a minute on each side. put them skin side down on some foil, and chuck a nice coating of the cheesy breadcrumbs over the fillets. grill for a minute or two and...... get it down ya! nice with a couple of bits of fresh bread and butter! jesus!! whens dinner ready im starving! because it's quick and easy, it's perfect for when u get home from a cold hard nights fishing!

i was all ways told parasites were common in whiting so keep an eye out for that but other wise lovely fish to eat parasites are common in most if not all white fish, i've found more worms in the guts of cod than in whiting. the parasites are killed off by the heat of cooking and become non existant.

Aye, sounds good to me Adam. Still nowhere near the numbers they seem to have on the mainland.
