I two am saving for better reels, my cheaper models are already showing signs of bad wear and tear and I look after stuff generally! i think I am going down the multiplier road this time, unless some has a decent fixed spool for a beginner?
Mark.

If you know what your after this carp fishing site is worth keeping an eye on as quite a few big pit fixed spool reels come up for sale, and because they are used in fresh water by carp anglers they will probably look like new! www.cemexangling.co.uk/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=16I'd stick to Shimano or diawa though Steve
