Sorry about the strange heading but couldn't stand to see another "hello..."
Local to lymington and Hurst, often found "trying" to catch bass, mackerel and anything else edible in the arm on in the run (solent)
A brief encounter with skatenchips on an Easterley hurst led me here so - here i am!
Always looking for advise and the opportunity to buddy on local boats...
Happy to share what little (just ask Skate...!) local knowledge i know, as often info on hurst and lymo is hard to come by.
Looking forward to seeing a couple of you around...

As soon as I started fishing in side the river mouth (opp end of hole) I was getting bass on feathers WTF?! I'm out on Sat in the dinghy and i'll be on the shore monday if i'm not in the garage fixing my bike welcoming in the SW and all teh shi1tty weather it brings! as for mapping the tardis you can pretty much sea where it starts (waves act like there's a reef), and lets just say you can't cast over it!

Now the Springs are back the shingle will go back to being a beach instead of a cliff!
(and the end of that marks the hole! - shingle stays the same as it was when you were there around the hole.)
Yup next week if the So-Westers stay, I'm gonan be hitting the hole after work as much as possible, just bought a new BBQ and need to introduce it to Mr Sea Bass! ;-)
Sat am off to get me some sandeel and squid, and gonna hit em with everything i got!

well santa,s little helper.....will be flinging bits of shiny metal with razor sharp hooks in 2morra AM at Hurst... the call of the rocks and groins there was to much for me to bear any longer. So if you see somebody walking back down the spit with a long silvery fish with a beaming smile.....it just might be me. ;D on the other hand.......if I blank so what.....it wont be for the want of trying. pssstt....I will be ably assisted by er indoors (so it might be a short session....lol) Gaz
