Hi guys went out this morning with cod on the brain, had a quick spin off Bembridge caught a 2lb Bass and made my way to Culver about 1 mile out, after consulting with squidlips, the weather was perfect the sea flat and my squid smelt ripe, I had a lot of pout bites for the first half hour then caught a spotted ray about 4lb nice size, followed by a dog fish and then i had a big bite and caught a 11.5 lb undulate ray which gave me a dam good fight it didnt want to leave the sea bed, i was tied on to a pot and after another 20mins the fisherman turned up so i had to move lol what bad timing, then he put the pot back in a diferent place, so i went and tied on to it, fished there for another hour and half and just had another couple of small bites, so i went and tried for some Bass on my way back round to lane end, i caught 2 more bass both of them just under size,. I kept the undulate and 2lb bass for dinner tomorrow, oh and i dropped my digital cam in the sea lol im such an idiot it fell out of my pocket, but when i got home i took a pic of the undulate i'll post it later, all in all a good day, could of been even better if the fisherman hadnt turned up.
