Got Both Ricks and Hugh's and i would say an angler who likes to cook what they catch should check out both and you can't go far wrong
i liked the library idea Codfather never thought of it before

Agree, got the River Cottage fish book,Its great. so we will all be cooking spiders, he says they are better than brown crab! That should reduce the numbers.

Dont think i have ever eaten spider! I think its meant to be sweeter than brown crab.

I will try it. When i worked on the boats, we had spiders so big that they couldnt get in the pot and were clung onto the outside of it lol. Nice leg meat on them ******`s i bet!

my old chap owned and run a fish processing plant in northwood which i worked for we cooked and dressed tons of crab and lobster each week and the spider meat was always more popular than brown crab but alot more work involved in getting the meet out. some might remember the place as we sold live sand eel and baits.
