Hi all, I went out in the kayak for the first time today ;D launched at swanick into the hamble and paddled up to a mark at warsash in search of my pet mullet  but numbers seem to be dwindling as the cold sets in and i could not get the buggers to feed  so paddled across southampton water to see how sunny was getting on, had a little go at spinning for the bass but no luck so made my way back into the hamble before dark, and then back to she slip for home. didnt catch anyhing but absolutely loved being out there on the yak ;D cant wait till i get out again sunday I retraced my trip on google earth and totaled up ten miles  ;D tightlines, scotty. |

nice one S. i would love to give kayak fishing a go but err.. sadly i'm hardly fit enough to fish chesil beach let alone paddle my butt off all day!
