Hi All, Recenlty joined this site and as is the form am introducing myself. Have been fishing for about 6 months now so still learning the ropes and looking forward to exchanging info and sharing stories with you all. Here's the first one! Went over the IOW for a camping trip over the weekend. We camped at Grange Farm on Brighstone Beach/Bay. Managed to fish both sat and sunday nights, sat night only caught a pout - about the 1lb mark so quite big for a pout. Sunday it started to blow up so looked good for brining ing the Bass in. Got the rods out about 6 and fished an hour before the Pizza's were ready ( on site offering!). Then back to the rods afterward's intent on catching as decent Bass as the winds started to wip up the sea. Got to about high tide and nothing doing so far when I saw a light bouncing up and down the beach coming closer - was the other half - "Help, the tent's just about to get blown away" and that was the end of the fishing - spent the rest of the night constantly tightening up the guy ropes! Lovely eve - not a wink of sleep all night! Cheers Slippery
