Hi all, i wanted to do a review of this rod now i have had it for a few months. Well what can i say, its a great all rounder, i can cast a 1oz dexter on it a big distance compared to any other rod i have had with ease. I was lucky in the fact that the first time i used it i had a good scrap with a bass just under 3lb and it worked a dream with a nice whippy but strong tip and pounds of grunt mid section and was a joy to reel in a half decent bass on! Second time i used it i, took it sole fishing with me and the tip gave a nice register to the smallest sole you have ever seen ;D and it loved casting the 3oz gripper i was using Next i want to freeline some mackerel heads and i`m just waiting for the right weather. My mate nick, sometimes uses a 4oz lead on his if need be with no trouble and i have seen him bully in a double figure smutt on it no worries, so they really are STRONG and with quality fugi rings, will (with tlc) last you a life time. An essential estuary, flattie, spinning, bass rod, a snip at around 100 nicker!

Nice one Dave. I've been thinking about one to compliment my BZE 3-5 oz 12 ft 6" - my favourite 'all rounder' I use for everything except really strong tides/weed, and which I would strongly recommend also.
