p.s where is this forum based? i see lots of piccys of "freshwater bay", looks stunning! Beach and Boat is owned by Pete B (Pete Baker) who is based in the Portsmouth area. A lot of members are from around the Solent area and the Isle of Wight (where the Freshwater Bay pics were taken), but we have people from all over. The more members from different areas the better !

big thanks for the welcome.. ;D off to a new mark ive been spying for a while in an hour or so. if it produces, ill add a report later. the fishing on the channel can be spectacular at times, cod over the winter (sometimes double fig's), as with the bass in the summer... also rays, dover sole, flounder and conger all within a few miles form my door. local popular marks are sudbrook, redwick, goldcliff, then down to cardiff, ogmore and the infamous gower peninsular. cheers for the info on freshwater bay, wish that was local! looks an awsome bass venue cheers again, wd.
