After a planned visit to burton bradstock was beaten by the weather,we decided to change our venue to Browndown.I was joined by a couple of my yakking mates from Dorset We launched around 8am in thick fog and horns sounding. We decided on fishing near the channel.After a couple of hours the fog had lifted. Fish caught were Jumbo Pout,eating size Whiting and Dogfish,alas no Cod,but I think most were struggling to find them today from what we were hearing on the VHF. Still,had a lovely day on the water and it wasn't anywhere near as cold as we had expected
