Side Imaging Humminbird on Boat with Inboard Arvor

Hi

I am looking for some advice regarding fitting/using a Humminbird side imaging fish finder 1197 or 997 to my Arvor 215as

The issue is that it is recomended that the transducer is in front of the prop as the wash will disrupt the side imaging.

Has anybody else got one on and Arvor or other boats with and inboard and does it work OK?
