Set off from home at 0545 and made it to the Blue Anchor at 0715 already Sharky and Tratty were there,soon the others followed and we made ready for launch
Wasn't as cold as we expected it to be.Paddled out to an inshore mark where we all sat for a long time without a bite,enough was enough,I decided to paddle out to some boats that were sat on the horizon.
Anchored up and sat there for a while with nothing doing,took a pic on the way back
After a while I paddled back to where everyone else was fishing to hear the great news that Helen had caught her first conger ;Dbrilliant ;DWell done Helen :-/Yes lads,we've got lady yakfishers too and they are good
Tratty's beautiful 3lb whiting is 1/2lb away from wessex boat specimen size,the whiting of a lifetime,Well done mate
What a great meet despite the lack of fish
Left the Scupper Pro at home and took my Trident for a dry a$$ ;D
Great to see so many yaks on the water in winter,there were at least 10 of us
