had a nose around cash robbers in shirly the other day(mon)saw one (orange) £29...i had a look...like you do....total crap,could'nt even turn the handle or engage the free spool,and they wanted £29 nicker for something that don't work  have you looked around on the tackle sights,someone was selling thhe green ones(old stock) in dec,think it was glasgow angling centre price was some thing like 70-80 quid ;)new |

the condition of the end plates is always the key ;D

could be the free spool release mechanism. they go down the sh*tter for a pastime! they for some reason arnt made of the same stuff the main drive gear is, therefore a notch forms that doesnt allow free spool be disengaged. if it was cheep enough it could be a nice little project lol

That clutch arm that goes on 6500 reels is about a quid to replace... there could be a steal there for £29  That reminds me the one in my sunset orange has gone and need to order a spare (fixed my green mag elite last year had exactly the same problem, then went out in the boat with slippery and used it for congering, lol :crazy: ) |
