Hi everyone, I know it's sad but I not only enjoy fishing but I love cooking as well. I know what your all thinking, a man that can fish and cook, now that's amazing Now I don't know how many of you have been following the recent Master Chef series and enjoying it. But with last nights final over and done with, there couldn't have been a better winner than Matt. :win: Congratulations go to this guy who is not only a fantastic cook, but he also goes diving off the Dorset Coast and catches and cook's sea food to perfection. I hope he opens a restraunt soon and if he does we will definetly be travelling to it. So hopefully with a string of super chefs promoting sea food perhaps more people will start and enjoy the wonders of fishing. :win:

The guy was amazing and deserved to win, very talanted cook and a diver to boot ! probably better off doing the diving than using a fishing rod, particuarly as he specialised in shell fish dishes.

Diving, how great is that ? Just think he gets 1st choice of what crabs to pick. We just get whatever one takes our bait

Ask your mate to get some recipes for me Loved the one which he served in the cob of bread  Perhaps he'll come on a fishing trip with us all and cook our catch. Oh well at least he'll enjoy meeting us all

well deserved winners prize I think, from kack handed start on presentation he turned into the best by a country mile on that final day..... ...I told jude that rather than throw back the spider crabs this season his last days main meal made from spiders looked sumptous..if fiddly to prep. Though the other 2 young lads were top Bo**ox too but matt pipped em on the day. Gazza

I wonder how many Spider Crabs anglers throw back everyday, when there is a good meal to be had ? If we lived in France, Poland etc we would probably be eating all sorts of things and wondering what the fuss is all about I have still yet to see someone on Master Chef cook Squirrel or Goat. Two great meats and very tasty

"skinny old goats meat,,,nah, dont think so" Goat's meat = less fat, more protein and tastes bloody wonderful You should try Squirrel and Wood Pidgeon. Readily available and very tasty :chef:
