Sufix Tritanium, Ultima Power-Plus or Daiwa Tourny line is the only ones i use, tried loads over the yrs but these have been the most reliable. Nick, local shop to me stocks Sufix if you need some let us know and i will see what he,s got in stock & price?.

berkley tri line for the ruff stuff ;D berkley tri line clear and green for leaders ;D diawa tounament for wanging it ;D diawa sensor, ultima tournament , shakespeare aerial(RED) ultima red ice for general use......i carry 6 abu mags loaded in pairs with various lines so im always ready all these super thin lines are great until you use them then they just dont doit load of crap actually . nick you would be better of using 18lb sakuma nite crystal as its .35mm , the 15lb sakuma is only .31 or .32mm-unless you are trying to squeeze extra inches on your cast by using a thinner line

down here in carrot cruncher land tritanium is popular...gardener tackle will actually sell you the 1lb spool direct on the grounds that it is hard to source so worth a go?
i use it in red on my 525s in 20lb for raying, smoothies just about all of it really. its in 17 on my 6500s...its nice stuff.
its my top all round line.
big game,f1 penn super surf, stren and trilene are all well liked also.

I think the only line with more abrasion resistance than tritanium is Profish ghostline which is a bit more expensive, especially since I've only ever seen it on 1/4lb spools. This link is very useful when it comes to comparing mono lines, and the guy who wrote it (Dave Barham) isn't the Sea Angler-type journo who would give a bag of shite a 10/10 review because he was getting paid for it: www.anglersnet.co.uk/authors/dave02.htmIt also proves what I always thought that Ultima F1 is toss There are a lot of nobs who always buy a certain type of crap line and say there can't be any difference because there are only a few factories in the world that make Nylon (Germany, Japan and USA I think). They are right that there are only a few but they use different polymer formulations for different lines so if anyone ever tells you all line is the same, tell them to take their head out of their ar5ehole

A few weeks later nick (solesearcher) asked me if i had any line in my bag.. " yeah i got some, you can have it mate" He used it that session without a hiccup...... A week later ... "ER, WHAT WAS THAT F**#* LINE YOU GAVE ME"?.......
