Apart from vhf, electronics etc.
Here a couple from me
Sponge on a piece of string over the side.(just long enough to reach the water).
Bar towels with tags on, hang in all four corners of the cockpit on hooks under the gunnel's, very handy, cheap, just wash and ready for your next trip.

You can't buy it, but I wouldn't set out without a well briefed crew who know exactly what to do if it all goes wrong. Totally agree with squidlips with the knife handy at the stern, I get a cold sweat on thinking about that situation in a big tide  |

1. Water for the kettle, followed by milk, tea, coffe, hot chocolate and sugar!
2. MOB recovery rope

We've put cargo - netting on our cabin walls from bulkheads to ceiling - brilliant for stuffing clothes, spare warps and everything and anything in and out of the way. Great posts, keep them coming, squidlips the sharp knife is a great idea, mine is lashed and cable tied to a broom handle, gives you extra reach, nothing worse than hanging over the stern.

Anti farmer giles foam  .Spare buff in case ancour gets fouled.Binos encase enging breaks down by Blackgang nudist beach ;Dpot noodles encase stuck at see for a while and water.Led lights in case of power failure Andy |

I like the guttering idea Sharkey, I suppose it does'nt stand out further than the gunnel edge?
Saves swivels, hooks and beads blocking up the bung. Nice one!
